Student Ministry

The life of a teenager or preteen can be challenging to navigate. Our goal is to encourage students to "love God, love others, and serve the world" through studying the word, creating opportunities to develop relationships with Godly adults through life groups, and serving together. This is discipleship and we seek to show students how to discover life with Jesus.

MSM - Middle School (6th-8th Grade)

HSM - High School (9th-12th Grade)

Sunday Mornings

Sunday School (6th-8th, 9th-12th) Combined class at 9:30 AM and at 11:00 AM that allows the students to dig deeper into God's word.

Wednesday Evenings

During the School Year: Middle School Midweek is our weekly gathering for 6th-8th grade students. Each week, we participate in exciting games, high energy worship, and relevant teaching starting at 6:30 PM followed by the most important thing we do: Life Groups. Our goal is for these students to learn more about God and grow in their faith. We want them to discover what it means to follow Jesus, how to live as a Christian, and connect with Godly adults who love them and want to see them grow.

During the School Year: High School Midweek is our weekly gathering for 9th-12th grade students. Each week we participate in memorable games, worship together led by our youth praise team, Ignite, and teaching starting at 7:45 PM. We believe in discipleship and every student is encouraged to join a Life Group. Life Groups meet at various times throughout the week with an adult leader. Our goal is for these students to learn more about God and grow in their faith. We want them to own their faith in Jesus, live it out, and connect with Godly adults who love them and encourage them to grow

This fall is jam-packed with fun and great opportunities for students to grow deeper with God. We are focusing our fall schedule on one of our church's core values: loving others. Each series we teach during Midweek is taught through the lens of loving others.

We are excited to see what God is going to do in our students this fall, so here are some quick details on what we are planning on doing:

Midweek Kickoff! - Midweek Mosaic exists to create an environment where students can have fun, bring their friends, learn about Jesus, and build relationships with trusted adults. We meet on Wednesdays throughout the school year starting August 21st. Doors open for Middle School students at 6:15p and for High School Students at 7:30p to hang out, play games, and to catch up with their LifeGroup Leader.

Parent Open House - We are excited to invite all parents of Middle and High School Students to join us on August 28th for a parent open house! This is an excellent opportunity for our ministry to get to know you and for us to inform you about everything that our ministry is about. Our meeting will run from 7:30p-8:00p, but parents are encouraged to join their student for his/her youth group time (Middle School Midweek starts at 6:30p and High School Midweek wraps up at 9:00p).

MOSAIC THEME NIGHTS - We are trying something new this year! We are introducing MOSAIC THEME NIGHTS about once a month during our school year. These nights will be similar to any other night for Midweek (we will still play games, sing songs, teach, and discussion times), but we will have a little extra fun with something ordinary. Students are encouraged to dress up according to the theme, we will play games that coincide with the theme, and we will have a few other theme-specific surprises! This fall, we are having Beach Night, Sports Night, and Awkward Family Photo Night. Be on the look out for more details on our Facebook Page, our Instagram Page, or our Parent Email regarding the specifics of each evening.

Parent & LifeGroup Leader Breakfast - On September 14th, we’re creating an opportunity for you to connect with your student's LifeGroup leader so you can better love, lead, and influence your teenager together. We will meet from 9:00a-10:30a in the chapel with a pancake bar and coffee for a come-and-go breakfast! RSVP on our Facebook event today! Don’t miss it!

Guys Night - We wanted to provide an event that gives teenage guys an opportunity to spend time with their parents (or parent figures) in an environment that is fun but still strategic and meaningful. So on October 19th, we want to invite you and your male student(s) to play games, compete, share a meal, and hear a word of encouragement you'll never forget. (Girls Night is coming up in the winter, so don't worry!).

The Event - Each school year, we provide a weekend retreat specifically for high school students. This November, we are going to Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO for The Event. This weekend will be packed with worship, an engaging speaker, and tons of fun! Registration opens on September 4th and is $45 if registered before October 6th. Between October 7th and October 23rd, the cost is $60. Register online and bring your payment into the office within one (1) week of registering. Can't wait to see your student there!
