Women’s Council

    The Women’s Council of First Christian Church of Dodge City, Kansas is the organization of the Christian women of the congregation to function as an auxiliary arm of the church. It exists to further the cause of New Testament congregation of which it is a part and to give assistance wherever possible to brethren of like precious faith who are engaged in the work of evangelism, foreign missions, benevolence, and Christian education.

      Through the years, the Women’s Council has, by means of voluntary offerings, rendered assistance to missionaries. The work of women of the New Testament church did not go unheralded by the apostles. In Philippians 4:3, Paul said, “And I entreat thee, true yokefellow, help these women which labored with me in the gospel.” May our women be willing to service the Lord’s Kingdom as well as these.

      Women’s Council is for All women of the church. We urge all ladies to become a part of the women’s work of the church. It is great fellowship as we work for the Lord and is a good place to get acquainted.

      The Women’s Council meets the First Wednesday of every month at 1:30 for a program and a short business meeting.
